Weatherford’s “BY THE BOOK” is a New
Christian Book Store - and Much More!

BY THE BOOK, with Christian books, gifts, coffee and conversation is now
open in a new retail space at 3318 Fort Worth Highway in Hudson Oaks, Texas,
on the east side of Weatherford. Owner Robin McKay envisions BY THE BOOK to
be more than a retail book store, with an expansive selection of non-book
Christian items and a most inviting community meeting location. Every item
is selected for inspiration, comfort and beauty to minister to all who come
in to the store, with Jesus as the center focus
“My hope is that this will be a resource and ministry
to the people of Parker County and surrounding communities,” McKay said, “A
place for people to gather and talk, relax and listen to music and find
Christian books, gifts and other items to inspire them.”
The concept of “What goes into the mind comes out in
life” resonates in every product we sell. “We plan many frequent events to
promote special causes and to reach out into the community with our Missions
Project Board to help church and civic groups get their message out”, she
added.
BY THE BOOK will carry the entire line of the top
Christian authors. Besides wonderful Christian readings, other categories
include gifts, crosses, cards, journals, and framed artwork. We also carry a
wide selection of Bibles, commentaries, and Bible research materials. In
addition to Christian books we carry audio/dvd Bibles and award winning
family movies.
The coffee bar is a great place for customers to get a
great cup of coffee or tea, connect with old and new friends or a good book.
